Led display working principle

A: Liquid crystal, a liquid crystal, is a very special substance. It is both liquid-like and has some optical properties of crystals. Liquid crystal was discovered in 1888 by the Austrian botanist Reinitzer, is a kind of organic compound between solid and liquid, with a regular molecular arrangement, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules has a certain order, and this order is very sensitive to external conditions, such as temperature, electromagnetic field changes. Under the action of the electric field, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules will change, thus affecting its optical properties, this phenomenon is called electro-optical effect.
